Saxophone Talent

Well over 40 years ago, Fred picked up a saxophone for the first time. He played in the band during school, earning honors for his musicianship.

Into the Family Polka Band

After excelling in the Bangor public school band, playing with the Polka Brothers band was a natural next step. Fred began playing with an Alto sax, and later expanded his abilities to Tenor sax. Over the years, he has also added Baritone, and Soprano sax. This gives him a tremendous range of sounds to add to our music. From light melodies to thunderous bass lines, Fred weaves his distinctive sound into our polka and variety music!

Lives in Bangor, Michigan, with his wife Judy.  He enjoys antique engine shows, and polka music.
